HISTORY

The lineside management team consists of nine regular members and some occasional helpers.

Chris is team leader and has been clearing the lineside vegetation since 1989.

In the early days, there was help from Phil & Greg.

In 1994, a rota of the departments of the railway was started with each dept. helping on two Saturdays per year. This gave us twelve clearance days per year using a large team of helpers and progress was more visible.

In 1995, Alan & Silvia joined the department and clearing continued on every Saturday with the larger departmental team on one Saturday per month.

In 1996, our first Dave defected from P-Way and joined us each Saturday. The departmental teams stopped helping.

In June 2003, our second Dave joined us on a regular basis.

In the autumn of 2007 we were joined by Keith, Roger and another Dave.

In the spring of 2009, our numbers were swelled by an extra Keith.

In the autumn of 2009 we were joined by our newest member, Rosemary.
